Shells Observation Set

A set of six interesting shells ranging in size from 1 to 3 inches (approximately) and having a range of colours, shapes and textures to explore.

IDEA: why not bury these in sand and let children discover them.
IDEA: encourage detailed observation using a magnifying glass.
Additional shells are available, each set is different but may contain some similar shells.

ELG: Investigate objects and materials by using all their senses as appropriate. Find out about, and identify, some features of living things, objects and events they observe.
