An oversized wooden button with a wooden needle, coloured lace and bobbin.

The child can thread the lace through the holes in the button, at the same time s/he develops his fine motor skills, particularly the pincer grip in preparation for writing.

ELG: Moving and handling: children show good control and co-ordination in large and small movements. They move confidently in a range of ways, safely negotiating space. They handle equipment and tools effectively, including pencils for writing.

WARNING: Not suitable for 0-3 years - Cord: Stangulation hazard.

Please make sure the knot at the end of the lace is secure and pushed into the recess on the needle.
