A wooden board on which to carry (and to work with) a metal inset and pencils. Insets not included. There is a gap around the insets once on the tray. It helps the child control the insets but is not intended to replace the need for the child to use the non-writing hand to steady the inset.

ELG: Moving and handling: children show good control and co-ordination in large and small movements. They move confidently in a range of ways, safely negotiating space. They handle equipment and tools effectively, including pencils for writing.
