The child can practice the action of using a spanner (wrench) by removing and re-inserting four bolts. The set consists of a wooden block with four bolts which screw into permanently fixed, threaded nuts. The board also has two insets: one for the spanner and one for holding the bolts once they've been removed. The spanner is made of a chrome-plated alloy and features both open and closed sockets for engaging the bolts.

NOTE: do not overtighten the bolts as this may result in the threaded sunken nuts being removed from the block when unscrewing.
