A perennial favourite that we have 'Montessorified' by using colours that match the short bead stair. This is a large vertical abacus. The posts are the same natural wood as the base so the child has to sort out which beads to place where by the height of the post and the number of beads. The posts are numbered 1 -5. These 5cm jumbo-sized beads can also be used for bead threading.

A perennial favourite that we have 'Montessorified' by using colours that match the short bead stair. This is a large vertical abacus. The posts are the same natural wood as the base so the child has to sort out which beads to place where by the height of the post and the number of beads. The posts are numbered 1 -5. There is an inbuilt control of error in that each post is only high enough for the correct number of beads.
These 5cm jumbo-sized beads can also be used for bead threading.

The base is 30cm x 10cm and the tallest post is 25cm long.
