Wooden Nuts and Bolts Frame

A wooden frame with a wooden bolt and a really chunky wooden nut. Tightening and unscrewing the bolt improves fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. 

Children are encouraged to manipulate the bolt by unscrewing and screwing it back onto the board. This activity helps children develop their hand strength and dexterity, as well as their ability to concentrate and focus on a task.

The wooden bolt material is engaging while also providing them with a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction as they master new challenges.  Chunky and large, the material is easy for little hands to grasp and piece together.

ELG: Moving and handling: children show good control and co-ordination in large and small movements. They move confidently in a range of ways, safely negotiating space. They handle equipment and tools effectively, including pencils for writing.
