Cabin Latch Board

Single latch board from our set of 6

Wooden boards with a small door on each with a range of different closures. 

The door is large enough for a blank playing card or similarly sized piece of paper to be put inside. This can have a picture, greeting message or instruction, giving a purpose to opening the doors. The child could leave a picture ready for the next child.

Cabinets in which to store the boards are available separately.

ELG: Moving and handling: children show good control and co-ordination in large and small movements. They move confidently in a range of ways, safely negotiating space. They handle equipment and tools effectively, including pencils for writing.
