The heart of cosmic education is storytelling. Dr. Montessori and her son Mario told stories about the development of life: the unicellulars became multicellulars; then animals appeared on earth, protecting themselves with armours, after that the animals with a backbone appeared, etc., until finally the humans came.

This a booklet from a series of small cosmic booklets which includes this wonderful evolution of life - from jellyfish, trilobites, sea lilies, fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals.

Each booklet (size: 14 cm x 14 cm) contains short, simple texts that children who start reading can read themselves. "I am a little trilobite, I lived millions of years ago ... I was small, but my children, my children's children and their children grew bigger and bigger ...". This way the children can further explore and comprehend " The Great Cosmic Tales: The Coming of the Universe and the Earth."

The booklets contain fantastic pictures that fascinate the readers. The animistic narrative stimulates an emotional understanding.
